Long ago, on my
first stay in Alaska,, (Nome),, I worked for the Nome Public School systems,,
First as a tutor, then as a teacher in the Adult and after school programs and
then as Director of Community Schools.
Way back then Apple was just getting going in the school systems and was
giving a great deal called “An Apple for the Teacher”  who could or would resist.. And since that
time I have owned and operated many, many Apple products.  We originally started QuilTak on one twenty
years ago.  But when QuickBooks didn’t’
keep their programs up to date with Apple, I was forced to go to a PC.  No complaints, other than, —it’s not an
Apple and you can’t compare apples to oranges or Cadillac’s to Geo’s.  Today I get to drive to Portland and get a new Macbook pro laptop.  We are getting ready for our move to Maui,, we want to be more portable and efficient and have
a great computer for our music—i-tunes and our photos.  But also, most importantly, to run a few
businesses from it… Like QuilTak, Vacation Rentals and Studio and Quilt retreat
information.  I am very excited.. Then I
get to stay with my dear buddy Ellen and her boys and also see little bair and
Steve.  Yeah,, a fun couple of days.

I am adding two
days worth of Abraham,, something to think about,, not everyone’s beliefs,, but
something to consider. These two quotes are a couple of my favorites. Enjoy
your day,, I know I will ;-)))

We want you to enjoy the contrasting experience, just like you enjoy the
contrasting buffet. And we want you to reach the place (and practicing Virtual
Reality will help you to gain this confidence) that whenever you’re in front of
a buffet that has so much that you do like to eat, as well as some that you
don’t like to eat, you don’t feel frustrated that there are things there you
don’t want to eat. You don’t feel compelled to put them on your plate and eat
them; you just pick the things that you like. And the Universe of thought is
the same way. You can choose from it the things that you like.

You just cannot kill everybody who doesn’t agree with you. You can’t do it.
You’ll kill enough of them, and pretty soon, you’ll be down to the nitty gritty
that is just you guys, and then you’ll start disagreeing with
each other… In other words, you cannot get to where you want to be by pushing
against what you do not want—it never, ever works.

taken with my i-phone–was our Christmas treat on our drive up to Dundee on Christmas day,, Was a double at times.
